Louis J. Song; Managing Partner

Louis is a founding Partner of PROVEN and has more than 20 years of professional experience ranging from Information Systems Analysis to Technology Recruiting to building and managing high performing sales teams and operations. Most recently, Louis was the managing director for a national staffing company where he managed a team of more than 20 people generating $15M/year. Louis graduated from the American University in Washington, D.C. with a BA in Psychology and is active in local business and community organizations. He is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Board of the San Diego Asian Film Foundation (www.sdaff.org).

Ingram Losner; Managing Partner

Ingram is a founding Partner of PROVEN and his staffing industry experience spans 21 years and 2 continents. He ran his own recruiting business in London between 1988 and 1996 and prior to founding PROVEN, Ingram was a Group President of one of the largest professional staffing companies in the world. Renowned for building great teams and developing some of the highest performing associates in the business, his teams won 6 major awards in 6 years for overall performance and customer service. Ingram graduated from London University with a degree in Economics and spent 4 years as an Accountant with a large UK Firm of Chartered Accountants. Ingram is active in the community and is involved with several local charities and non-profit groups.

Hillari Hire; Senior Partner, Finance & Accounting Practice

Hillari is a founding Partner of PROVEN and graduated with Dean's Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in Business Economics and an official emphasis in Accounting. Since graduation, Hillari worked as an Auditor for Arthur Andersen before transitioning into recruiting and consulting for Accounting and Finance professionals and executives where she is able to leverage her extensive network. She is an acknowledged expert in the art and science of recruiting and staffing and has earned several high performance awards and attended numerous award trips with her last company.

Jason Collins; Senior Partner, Scientific Practice

Jason is a founding Partner of PROVEN, with more than 10 years of professional experience in technical recruiting. Jason started his career with a national firm in Milwaukee, WI and achieved a number of early promotions due to superior customer service in start up markets. Jason’s experience also comprises leading recruiting teams in delivering niche technology candidates for large projects in compressed timeframes for both Direct Hire and Consulting projects in Corporate environments. Jason graduated with a BA in Communications from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater.

Kathryn Hammelman; Associate Partner, Technology Practice

Kathryn most recently led a nationwide recruiting program at a San Diego based internet technology firm, which resulted in over 100 software engineering hires within a 4 month period. She was the top performing IT recruiter, specializing in hiring C#, .NET, AJAX developers. Prior to IT recruiting, Kathryn worked in Asia for CDI Holdings, the third largest private language institute in Korea, delivering and training new instructors as the company grew from 7 main branches to over 50 new franchises nationwide. Kathryn graduated with a BA in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Kin Moy; Senior Researcher, Enhanced Recruiting Services

Kin attended the University of California, San Diego, graduating with a degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology in 2001. He worked at the Scripps Research Institute for six years focusing on crystallizing protein structures and is listed in over 40 scientific articles. His main expertise is in molecular cloning, protein expression/purification, and mammalian/insect cell maintenance.

Marilyn Kaforey; Senior Partner, Finance & Accounting Practice

Marilyn is a founding Partner of PROVEN, with a combination of 15 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Financial Services and Operations recruiting. For the past 8 years, she hired, developed and managed an award winning team for a national consulting company focusing on both direct hire and temporary staffing solutions. Marilyn is heavily involved in a number of community projects including serving as the Vice President of Crossroads, a local woman's recovery home and actively supports the National MS Society with various events and fundraising efforts.

Marlene Garcia; Senior Partner, Technology Practice

Marlene Garcia is a 25 year veteran of the information technology industry. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a B.S. degree in mathematics and computer science, she launched her career as a software developer/systems analyst for National City Bank of Cleveland and Ernst & Whinney. Her interest in technology coupled with her strong commitment to customer service lead to a career in IT professional services with Computer Task Group. Subsequently, she became a Systems Engineering Manager for Sun Microsystems and most recently, she directed the San Diego technology consulting practice of a $1B professional services company, doubling revenues and gross profits. She joined PROVEN to spearhead the development of the Technology Consulting Practice. Marlene is an active member of the UCSD Athena organization, serving on several committees and also serves on the Board of the FC Bratz Soccer Club.

Matt Ivko; Senior Researcher, Scientific Practice

Matt has more than 4 years experience in a lead servicing and consulting role with a Fortune 50 Telecommunications company. He attended UCLA where he studied Political Science with an emphasis in Comparative Politics. Matt is heavily involved with several homeless and food shelter projects in Southern California.

Meredith Dow; Senior Partner, Scientific Practice

Meredith has 10 years experience in the scientific staffing industry and most recently was responsible for opening and managing the Scientific branch for a $1 billion staffing company. She developed the branch into the company’s most successful Scientific branch for 8 of the 9 years that she was with the company. In her first year, she was recognized as Rookie of the Year and achieved Platinum performance (their top honor) for the other 8. She holds a BS degree in Zoology with an emphasis in Animal Behavior from the University of California, Davis. She has over 4 years hands-on experience in the Biotechnology industry, specifically in Immunoassay development. She is an active member of ACS, AWIS, the PDA and has been on the Board of Directors for the San Diego branch of AALAS for 7 years. She joins Proven to lead the development of the Scientific Practice.

Pat Price; Senior Partner, Administrative Services

Pat has over 20 years of administrative experience working in the electronic and recruiting fields. She has held positions from receptionist to office manager and has managed 5 employees. Her most recent experience was with a national recruiting company working directly with IT, FA and Pharmaceutical groups. Her experience is focused on the back office, invoicing, AP/AR and customer service. She has been involved in several charities in San Diego including Meals on Wheels, National MS Society, in charge of several food drives and collections supporting the armed services.

Patricia Jefferies; Senior Partner, Scientific Practice

Patricia has over 8 years experience in staffing and consulting within areas of Science and Engineering. She was a top performer with a large national staffing firm earning the honor of Platinum Performer in 2004 and 2006. Patricia also spent 4 years in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries within the areas of Juvenile Diabetes research and pharmaceutical manufacturing support for Allergan, Inc. Her technical background in microbiology and practical industry experience has enabled her to leverage an extensive network. Patricia is also involved with a number of local community organizations including National Charity League, as well as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Team in Training, with whom she just completed the 2008 OC Marathon.

Susan has over 10 years of Staffing experience specializing in the recruitment of Finance and Accounting professionals for both direct hire and consulting opportunities. Most recently, Susan spent 8 years as a Senior Account Manager and Recruiter for a billion dollar national staffing firm where she consistently earned various performance and achievement awards including Gold and Platinum sales awards and Employee of the Year. Prior to entering the staffing industry, Susan spent 8 years recruiting, hiring and training employees on new programs and processes for a multi-state retail firm. Susan has her degree in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Fullerton and is an active member of her local community.

Rick is a founding Partner of PROVEN. A Big 4 alum and Senior Business Strategy Consultant by profession, Rick has over 25 years experience in technology and professional services. Rick spent 12 years in the technology staffing area, including managing a branch of 35 staff for a $500 million staffing firm, providing search and flexible staffing services in multiple market segments and as a principal/owner in a three city technology staffing concern. Rick has been the recipient of several staffing industry awards, including "Performer of the Year" for a national staffing business. He graduated Texas Tech University Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Management Information Systems.

Gerard Sahagian; Associate Partner, Enhanced Recruiting Services

Gerard has more than 15 years experience in the Legal, Technology and Staffing fields which includes over 7 years in recruiting and staffing. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Gerard, a member of the California Bar Association, obtained his JD at the University of San Diego. He worked in the District Attorney’s office in San Diego prior to assuming a Technical consulting role for a premier San Diego software company. He then spent 2 years with a premier private recruiting agency where he began assisting San Diego technology companies to locate and hire top quality engineers and executives both locally and nationwide.
